BIP has been choosing Microsoft since 2008, later customizing in 2018 an improved Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 installation for administration finance and control management, job order management with approval flows and numerous integrations with external systems. One of the most interesting customizations involves the integration of WebService NAV with vendor Infocert’s GoSign service to manage electronic signatures on manager-related documents, with three types of signatures and different levels of security. This allowed a heavy streamlining of document management flows while simultaneously intensifying the security level of procedures.
The project is always evolving, and thanks to an almost tailor-made adaptation of the solutions provided by Microsoft, it enables the client to meet all the needs of such a large and diverse business in a precise and timely manner.
The customer is responsible for the approval of the various technical analysis documents (TDDs) and user acceptance tests (UATs) preparatory to the commissioning activities of the various developments.
We undertake implementation at the technical level, meeting the specifications of the solutions described in the TDDs, and supervise and support resources in the execution of UATs.
Our team consists of a project manager, a finance consultant, and three developers, and works closely with the client’s team, which itself consists of four key users and two external collaborators.
